This small side table made of Douglas wood is indispensable for truly relaxing and enjoying your afternoon in the sunshine. It is the perfect place to set down your drink, your book or your sunglasses. The table is sturdy and stable and will not blow over at the first gust of wind.

Why choose a side table made from Douglas wood?

First of all, it matches beautifully with our Douglas Bench and Table 2 in 1 or with a Douglas wood lounge bench. Douglas wood is a very strong type of wood and lasts for 10 to 15 years without treatment. It is well suited to the Dutch climate and can therefore remain outdoors during the winter. However, thanks to its practical size, it is easy to handle and you may prefer to store it in a shed or storage space, allowing your table to last even longer.

• Delivery fee: the side table is delivered together with a Bench and Table 2 in 1 or a picnic table, or shipped via PostNL for € 8,75

Do we work with sustainable wood?

Yes, nature is important to us too. That’s why we purchase our wood from companies certified with the PEFC label. PEFC is an international certification for wood products and paper, and stands for Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. It is supported by governments, companies and regional organisations. Wood with the PEFC label comes from sustainably and socially managed forests.

Movement of the wood

Due to the natural movement of the wood, small and sometimes longer fine hairline cracks may appear. This is a normal occurrence and does not affect the strength or stability of the side table. These cracks may become visible during warm and dry weather, and can partially disappear again once wetter, rainy conditions return. It is not possible to predict how this will develop in Douglas or impregnated spruce wood. If you are unsure whether the hairline cracks in your wood are normal, please feel free to send us a photo so we can assess it for you.
