Tree Trunk Picnic Tables

We always know exactly where the tree trunks come from and can therefore guarantee that they are sustainably felled. All tree trunks originate from the Netherlands and are dried by us, either artificially or naturally. Our range is diverse, and each picnic table is one of a kind! There is only one of each table available. This means you will always have a unique picnic table! For the Douglas wood live edge picnic tables, we work with a supplier that holds the appropriate certification.
The live edge planks are untreated and are delivered sanded. The bark has been removed from the edges and the edges themselves are carefully sanded. This prevents clothing from catching on unpleasant splinters. Every live edge picnic table has a robust appearance thanks to the natural, irregular tree-trunk edges. These edges are unique to each table, as every plank has its own natural pattern. Live edge picnic tables have a long lifespan; an oak live edge picnic table can easily last up to 20 years.
This makes them the ideal picnic table for all your birthdays, BBQs and enjoyable drinks with family or friends.
Maintenance of the picnic table
Tree trunk and Live edge picnic tables are always made from wood species that are highly suitable for our Dutch climate. These may include acacia wood, oak wood, Douglas wood or other strong types of wood. The picnic tables can therefore remain outdoors during the winter. You can leave the picnic table untreated, in which case it will gradually develop a grey patina, or you may choose to treat the table to protect it against weather influences. Always make sure to consult a specialist about the most suitable product, as this can differ per type of wood. If your picnic table has turned green after the winter, you can use green soap to remove the green deposit.
How we deliver our picnic tables
The picnic tables are always delivered fully assembled. They are sanded by us, so all you need to do is take a seat and enjoy your new picnic table! During delivery, our driver will help you with placing the picnic table in its final position. We will make an appointment with you in advance and discuss any special delivery requirements.
The delivery time is approximately two weeks.
